Sample project: boutique hotel with a discreet guest entrance

Late check-in without a night porter: guests open the door by QR code and the technology stays out of sight — by day the same station works as an ordinary intercom.

A house with thirty-four rooms keeps no night porter, yet regularly takes guests who arrive after midnight. The usual workarounds — a key safe, a number taped to the door — sit awkwardly in exactly the place where the first impression is made.

In this sample project guest access therefore runs on a code that belongs to the booking and is valid only for its dates. Little of that shows at the door: a flat front in the tone of the façade, a reader, no keypad, no sticker.

By day the station changes role. It calls reception, shows the camera image and releases the door like any other intercom. The special function is noticeable only when it is needed.
